How to DePIN 🛠️

GM and happy Friday! This week, we’re kicking off with a little “how-to” guide from Solana on how to launch your own DePIN. 

Meanwhile, World Mobile hit the skies with a stratospheric aircraft, providing mobile coverage to over 15,000 km². Tracking aircraft like this one, Wingbits processed over 865 billion datapoints in Q2 (an 86% increase from Q1).

Speaking of growth, Teneo now boasts over 6 million nodes, and Kage Data Hunters have scanned more than 5 billion networks.

Io.Net and Recall recently concluded their hackathon events, with winners announced this week. Farmsent’s “.Grow” domain is now available natively on the Brave browser, and Gradient’s Parallax LLM went live with gpt-oss-120b.

If you’re in the market for more DePIN (who isn’t?), WeatherXM’s dApp is 25% off right now on Solana Mobile. IG3 released new features on its app, as Mawari announced that its portal will soon close.

Speaking of charting, Hivemapper announced its recent $HONEY token burn, while Wifi-Map released another round of on-chain stats. NATIX network outlined its July growth after launching the VX360 device in Japan, while Wingbits doubled its sky coverage in Brazil.

Back in the US, Helium brings new connectivity and network milestones. World Mobile Chain mainnet went live recently, reaching 6 million transactions, while Teneo collected over 500 million data points in 30 days. Grass also accessed mainstream trading on the Revolut App as Wayru released beta access for its dashboard and mobile app.
